Just decided to take OH on a surprise hol. - even 'old wrinklies' can celebrate Valentines day

I've found the flights to Malaga, now I need some good accommodation.

Does anybody know of any great deals on good accommodation, either SC, BB or HB.

At that time of the year there will be loads and loads of cheap deals all along the coast line. Try www.travelsupermarket.co.uk (or other comparison sites) for deals and availability. I assume you are flying to Malaga......the rail system from the airport is really good and cheap so take care to pick a resort which is on the railway line. For example, Nerja is really lovely but no railway line so the cab fare tends to be very expensive. Check out the rail map...sorry i have not a link to hand but a google search should find it no bother.

That looks v. good except users comment about a steep hill to front door. We try and avoid steep hills; heart prob. Do you know if is there another entrance to the hotel on the level?

This hotel must be very new. I've done a google for "The Miramar Hotel in Fuengirola" and can only find links to the Miramar shopping centre in Fuengirola.

Have you any links to this hotel for details and prices etc.

Hi you should try travelrepublic.co.uk , do a search with the dates you want. i find them hard to beat also there is a discount if you book online rather than over the phone. Loads of hotels/apartments

There is another entrance from the main road, which is on the level,which takes you through the gardens and the pool area.

You can only use this entrance after you have checked in, as you need your plastic card to access the door.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and for a three star,it`s excellent value.
First Choice use this hotel but it`s a lot cheaper booking direct with the hotel via their website or phone.

I m heading back to the hotel cavana for the second time in 6 months soon. it is on a square 2mins from the Balcon de Europe in Nerja. have a look at www.hotelopia.co.uk and it is possible to get 10% discount with a code- search these pages- and a further 10 % via quidco.
45 from the airport by car but possible by public transport too.

went last year the riveira in belamadena is a 4 star overlooking the sea looked very nice adults only with entainment, close to the lovely marina
