Drip Drip drip....

Our bedroom window seems to be dripping from the top where the wooden frame mets the ceiling.
In the summer i noticed this and thought i'd sealed it. I used a sealant on the inside - but the drip seems to have got worse.
Can anyone recommend a product guaranteed to work & will i have to go outside or can i solve the problem without that hassle?
Thanks in advance.

By sealing it from the inside you have not stoped the leak, get the ladders out,it could be the seal around the window, but if its leaking from the top of the casting then it sounds like a roof leak.A thankyou is payment enough .0

it could be the rain is running off the roof, missing the guttering and running down the wall
or even worse running into the loft then down the inside of the wall
as mentioned, you neew to get your ladder out and have a look at the wall immediately above the window, it could be you just need to reseal around the window casing or you need to check the guttering is not blocked up or has come unclippedsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....
