My mother, who is 82, is going to stay with my brother in NZ in November for a few months.
I rang the Post Office this morning, to test the water, and they quoted £1,124 for 90 days cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and that doesn't include any specific medical conditions.
Please tell me that they got it wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also consider the travel insurance on offer with banks' premuim current accounts. !smile and Co-op, through their smilemore and Priviledge accounts, offer annual travel policies for account holder & spouse for £6.00 and £6.50 per month respectively. These have no age restriction. !They even include ski cover for the young (at heart?).

There are so many exclusions in the small print of these "free" policies that they are absolutely useless !

https://www.insureforall.com only do travel inurance for over 65's, goes up to 85 (?)...should be worth adding to the list of people to try. Agree whole heartedly with the above post re bank freebies, they tend to be very basic indeed...read them carefully before relying on them!
if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.
