Well i'm all set up fully now, receiving all the text message statements and updates very regularly so I know exactly where i'm up to - its great for saving money I feel bad everytime some new expenditure comes through on a text lol :money:

Changed my A+L premier direct to the basic bank account so they don't charge me as i'm not paying in the £500 a month requirement.

I've also kept my £1000 OD with A+L. The most I get charged for this is £5 a month would it be worth putting the OD in the first direct E-saving account @ 5.25% AER?

    No...

    12 x £5 per month fees = £60

    £1,000 x 5.25% = £52.50 gross (£42 after savings tax)
