:j Im so relieved its all over with and the bonus is i won. Where they had stopped all the DLA (i was getting High Care and Low Mobility) they allowed my appeal and they gave me Middle Care and Low Mobility. I know its not what it was but i dont mind as it makes things easier than it has been. We were in the room for quite some time being questioned but i just told them everything as it was and was honest with them.
I know everyone said to only answer what they needed to know but a few times today i explained myself further and felt if i hadnt done then the decision may not have been so favourable.
E.g. when asked how long i had my problems i told them 12-13 years. They then asked how long been investigated so i told them 5-6 years. I could then see that they were wondering why the time difference so i explained that up until 5-6 years ago i mentioned to my nurse each time i went for the pill and she just said maybe its because you havent eaten or some other reason. THis went on for about 6-8 years until the time when crossing the road with my then two young daughters and only just managing to make it over the road to the pavement before falling down. Thats when i pushed for something to be done. And the story continues.
I have been awarded it for 18 months, as they say it may not be a long term thing (which i hope it isnt) but that 18 months runs from last November so i will get it until May 06. During which time i will be seen in London and hopefully get things sorted.
Thankyou all for your comments, info and help. Much appreciated. At least i can get a good nights sleep tonight, thank god, i wouldnt want another night like last night!!

Great news. Also, thanks for posting the whole story and the result. Let's hope it encourages more people to do the same.........

P.S. I think quite a few of us owe Ted H a beer by now.
