I think they'd be on very dodgy legal ground there. Because it's in the bit with 'non-transferable', I suspect that they mean you can't transfer or resell until you own it, at which point it'll lose some of its value. Same thing happens with cars - the winner usually has to own, tax & insure the car, and even if it isn't driven off the forecourt, the very fact that it's got an owner knocks a couple of grand off the price at least.
I doubt very much they'd be able to prevent the winner ever selling it, especially if it's costing money. Imean, can you imagine what the other papers would make of this? "Daily Mail sinks winner's hopes" "Scuppered! Disappointed winner speaks out" "Shiver me timbers! It's a con!"0 -
