Has anyone visited Conkers Forest Centre ? Can you recommend it for a day out ?

Not been myself, but others used to take school groups there. Very good, child friendly apparently and lots to do.

we went to conkers last summer, a scorching hot Sunday in the holidays.

There is lots to do my partner liked the adult assault course.
i liked the woodland walk.
Our son enjoyed the train ride ( included in the addmission price) and the play area.
there is lots to see and do inside as well ( though we didn't spend much time inside because the weather was so lovely.

we took a picnic and ate it by the lake.

we had a brill day out
