Is EBICO for buisness users only

Iv been looking around for for the best prices for my gas & electric now my three year deal with EDF as finished
The best one i came up with being a low user was EBICO, but when i was contacted by Southern (trying to get me to join them) they told me it was for buisness users only and that they would charge me 17% vat as well, but when i look around all the compaison web sites this is not mentioned.
Can any one help please

That's a load of rubbish. There are thousands of individual householders getting their Gas and Electricity from EBICO.

We have had gas and electric supplied by EBICO for the past year or so and we aren't business users. There are many threads on this board from many satisfied EBICO customers.

    Good luck

I hope not as I've just sent of my form to change to EBICo:confused: , I phoned them up as I was worried about the price increases, and they said it is unlikely their prices would change in the near future, (the woman I spoke to had been working there a year and the price hadn't increased while she had worked there), I went to their website and it says they are a non-profit organisation to tackle the feul poverty problem, ect, EBICo saved me £62.00 per year on a £200 annual bill.:T

Southern have lied to you, I and thousands of other private individuals are with Ebico, VAT is 5%, same as all other suppliers.

As stated, Ebico is not for profit ethical Christian based organisation. Join & be happy at easy to understand lower bills

I think they need to view the EBIco FAQ, they only provide a service to households.

A business trying to apply would be disappointed!
