my first smoke free day as have given up smoking today and it is driving me mad. Had to share it with you all as is rather a achievement to me as have been smoking for 18 years. So hopefully this prize will be a good one once I have got past the withdrawl as am only using willpower.

Yay well done, its one day at a time, I stopped smoking a year ago this week, will power and Alan Carr book. I didnt find it too difficult which of course is great.

Congrats, I quit 27.01.07 through willpower....and moving house, I had far too much to do to think about my cravings and by the time things had settled, I'd broke the habit!lol Anyway, good luck to you in the next few days, it really is worth carrying on Just become FTBs & Aiming to be mortgage free by 2034

Well done, please keep it up! I have never smoked and never will. My sister's boyfriend's dad died on christmas eve due to smoking-related lung cancer so keep in mind what it can do (i'm sure u already know).

Very well done. That's brilliant. I gave up with just will power when a good friend of mine, who was a smoker and used to say lung cancer was just a scare, died of lung cancer. I have to admit I was tempted on more than one occasion and once I gave in and bought a pack of herbal cigarettes. After coughing my heart up after a few puffs they ended in the bin and that was that. It is hard but stick to it - it is worth it.
