Staples have a Linksys broadband router with 2 ethernet and 2 rj11 VOIP telephone sockets priced at a reasonable £30-1p.
This means you could have two dect phones connected to it.
The staff were a little clueless as to what was involved, presumably as Vonage is in large print on the box it must be locked to their server, but again there maybe possibilites to configure it to other cheaper suppliers.
Vonage is £9.99 per month unlimited landline calls. has anyone on NTL broadband ditched the NTL phone and TV and just got broadband and VOIP .
HTHs someone, Scat

It may be a better idea to buy an unlocked one which would allow you to use VoIPBuster etc:

hi gavin, the Staples box seems to be the PAP2 built in to a router.
The question is no-one knows whether it is locked or not.Moi....?

Has anyone managed to find out if these are locked to Vonage yet please?

Unfortunatly seems locked as part number is RT 31P2-uv. and afaik uv stands fot UK Vonage in this case. The unlocked ones have a suffix -NA, and are becoming difficult to get hold of . ( sad smilie ) see HERE
