How much do you think I could sell this sort of desk for? and what price do you think they would sell like hot cakes for?

120cm x 80cm, strong metal frame + wheels.

you might sell the odd one for 49 quid.
you might sell hundreds at 1 quid.
but dont bank on it. computer desk is a funny market. peeps want a style that suits their decor. that means keeping many many styles in stock.

and dont forget, the laptop rules now. also remember most new homes are the size of matchboxes.
good luck if you wanna try it out though.

try ebay for comparisons and prices made.

We paid at work around £180 for similar desks for the code monkeys. Home use wouldn't attract more than £50, but like Ormus said, laptops are much more popular, and I dont have a dedicated office at home, so a desk is redundant.

Have a look on eBay, I paid a couple of hundred new for a couple of similar desks for a home office a few years ago. But you'd need to find a local buyer, so perhaps a local paper or a local area on https://www.gumtree.com

You see that is naff compared to this heavy duty office/business use one. I just bought one for £10 <<< now it happily installed in "my home office" :D It's much better than the set up I had before.

I am thinking of buying another 6 either to sell on or I might use them as student desks in my hopefully soon buy to let house I intend to buy.

yes i agree that yours looks better quality.
but selling em on ebay its up against the argos sort of competition. esp for domestic useage.
