V5 Logbook Question?

If you lose your Logbook, is it possible to get a replacement? :confused:

if so, is there a charge???

  • Yup, £25 for a new one, unless you have the green new keeper's supplement V5C/2.

    If you have that then complete form V62 available from direct.gov.uk or from Post Office and post it to DVLA with V5C/2 attached. Should get new one in 2-3 weeks, up to 4 weeks if there are changes eg address.

    If you don't have V5C/2 then quickest way is to ring DVLA (if there are no changes) on 0870 240 0010 to order one over phone with credit/debit card. Should receive it in 5 working days. Or do V62 form and send cheque/postal order.
