Problem with Nintendo DS Brain Training Game?

My niece asked for Nintendo DS More Brain Training by Dr Kawashima for her birthday next week. I ordered a new copy from a seller on Amazon called the game collection and received a game called Brain Age 2 - More Training in Minutes a Day (blue cover not like the one on Amazon, no mention of Dr Kawashima), on the back of it it says for sale, rental and use only in USA, Canada, Mexico and Latin America. Anyone know if this is the same product and/or will it work over here, are Nintendo DS and their games the same the world over??!

Thanks for any help - I know nothing about these things!

I can't say 100% that it's the same but, packaging aparty, it looks identical to the Dr.Whatsit we have.

It could be that it's called Brain Age 2 in the Americas for legal reasons.

It should work without any problems on the DS.

I think the sellar has been less than honest in their description though
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical

Am not sure - didn't want to take the sellophane off in case it had to go back. There is a head/brain on the front which looks very like the one on the More Brain Training cover and the bottom right segment has a clenched fist which could be for rock, paper scissors. The game next to it on the 'brain' seems to be asking the change from a $5 dollar note - would this be in pounds/sterling on your version?

I have my copy in front of me and the 'Hand over the change' picture has 2.00 in it.

Now I've taken my glasses off and looked even closer there is £5 in the picture. It's definitely a £ not a $.

sounds ot me like you have the US version, it will work but any references to money in it will be US dollars. Does it look like this ?

    US game

How much did you pay? Remember the US games are much cheaper so if you paid anywhere near UK retail you've probably been ripped off.

yep thats the one, it was a couple of quid cheaper than the other sellers but the other reason I went for that seller was it said all games sent 1st class. Funnily enough its now about the same price as the other sellers ie gone up £2 but who knows if hes sending the US or the UK version. He hasn't replied to my e-mail yet but guess he couldn't quibble if I asked for a full refund + my postage to send it back. Its not really fair to give it to my niece, she will get confused!
