in Techie Stuff
hi i tried to copy ms games from vista lap top to xp desk top using usb stick,
files copied,files open, but i cant play the games.
never had problem with this back in the dark days of window95
did i do something wrong or are they protected from copying???

You'll need to install the games from the original CDs/DVDs, most applications/games won't work if you just copy them over and they add supporting files, libraries and folders in various places, not to mention adding various information to the registry.0

Nothing to do with Vista. You need to install them properly, not just copy them accross.0 -

You can't copy them. You need to find the original CDs and reinstall them0

Those games are probably Vista only & you shouldn't be copying them over anyway as they're only licensed for that machine.Winnings
