Old Shares

Hi,
I have recently found an old share certificate for Eastern Electricity, which was issued in 1992 for shares I own. At the time I was living at a different address.
They are no longer listed on the share lists that I can see. Does anyone know if I can I claim anything on these at all? Either other shares or money?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Karen

Eastern Electricity was purchased in 1995 by Hanson PLC.
You need to contact Eastern Electricity's Share Registars to get any money you are entitled too (their details may be on the share certificate) but I think they were:
Computershare Investor Services
PO Box 859,
The Pavilions,
Bridgwater Road,
Bristol BS99 1XZ.
Alternatively, call 0870 703 0063 and ask for corporate actions
If not, you could try Hanson's share registrars:
Equiniti Limited (previously LloydsTSB Registrars)
Aspect House
Spencer Road
Lancing
West Sussex
BN99 6DA
Tel: +44 (0)121 415 7074.
