Flybe???

I am flying to Spain with flybe in two weeks time from Birmingham and was hoping someone could give me a bit of info about the electronic ticket system they use. I have always had the good old fashioned paper tickets sent to me by post and I'm just a little confused to how this system works. Any experiences about Flybe and Birmingham airport would also be appreciated. Thanks.

Just present your e ticket and you will get your boarding card, all they need is the booking reference number off it, so make a note of it in case you misplace it.0 -
Your passport is normally enough even if you lose or forget the e-ticket number. They will identify your booking from your name, but as trisha says, you're best to keep a note of the number just in case.0

I used to work for Flybe and was based in Birmingham for a few months so i can tell you whatever you would like to know really.
You will all need your valid passports to get your tickets, just go to the ticket desk which is in the far right hand corner of the Departures area, the other side of the escalator. Show the lady your passport and give her the reference number you have got. Then go and check in, the checkin desks are just to the right of the ticket desk.
You will then go through to departures, to get there you have to go up the escalator and its just passed the WHsmith shop upstairs.
The best tip i can give you when flying with Flybe is REMEMBER they are a low fairs airline and therefore everything is chargable onboard.
Buy sandwiches and drinks before you get on the aircraft, Boots meal deal or something because once you are onboard it is VERY expensive.
If i remember rightly the costs are
Sandwiches £4 EACH!!! and they arnt that nice
Bottle of water £1 !! You cant get a glass of water they have to charge you, dont drink the water from the toilets it is recycled and not drinkable.
Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate £1.50
They also sell the usual Pringles, peperami, chocolate bars, muffins again all at silly prices.
It used to be very embarressing for us to sell a lunch (sandwich, drink, crisps) to a family of four and then have to ask them for £24 for some simple things! £16 just for the sandwiches RIP OFF!!!
So please buy your stuff before!
Take magazines coz the inflight magazine is poo and there is no film or anything, you will get bored!
Other than that it is actually quite a nice airline.
Oh if you have got hard cases use them as the baggage handlers at birmingham are known to be less than delicate with handling. If there is a problem with your bag on arrival back in birmingham go straight to the aviance or servisair desk in the baggage collection area, they will get you a new one.
Be prepared for delays as they do seem to get frequently delayed, not usually for long long periods but 1hr is not uncommon.
Sorry ive just read all that back and it seems very depressing, they are a good and friendly airline just want you to be prepared. Have fun on your holiday and remember......
ALWAYS be nice to the Air hostess!! he he he0 -
One good thing about them is they don't request that you present the credit card that was used for the transaction at check-in, means I could buy a ticket for another relative who would be travelling alone. The full service airlines like BA and CX seem to want the credit card.0
