Anyone know where I can sell my wedding dress?

Where did you sell it in the end? There are so many options, hard to know which ones actually work! I don't want to go down the ebay route unless I need to, as I've heard their commission is quite high relatively. Thanks!0

I finally sold mine a couple of weeks ago, pretty much a year to the date I got married so if you're struggling to sell...keep persevering! I was started to get a it fed up and my husband was like "you'll never sell it...give up".
I got about a third of what I paid for it and it was immaculate. I had quite a few people who said they were interested in that time but when it actually came to trying/buying nothing ever came of it.
Top tip: I sent mine using Doddle - worked out quicker and cheaper than sending via Hermes (parcel was too big for Royal Mail) and they were very helpful in the shop which is always nice. Make sure you stash away a box big enough to post it in if you're doing that, I had a mad panic to try and source a box.
That's a good price for second hand clothing. Doesn't matter how "immaculate" it was or is, its still second hand.0 -
Try Ebay but remember to enter a reserve price, otherwise you will end up selling it for nothing0

You may reach to those people who give dresses on rent! Just google for those! I am sure that they will be interested in buying if your dress is in good condition but you need to negotiate with them in order to get the best price.0

I have been trying to sell my dress on gumtree but without much luck...now posting it on some 2nd hand wedding dresses sites such as bride2bride lets see if it is any better...0

I had 1 fitting but sadly the dress is still with me ;-( Its rather hard to sell it as IMHO loads of new brides want to buy a brand new dress rather then second hand one ;-(0

I've not listed my dress anywhere yet (need to clean it) but I listed some decor and other stuff on a site called sellmywedding.co.uk and was actually really surprised with the response.
You do have to pay for membership to list things, but it's a one off £10, and there are no selling fees. I did have some PayPal fees but if you only did cash on collection then that wouldn't be an issue.
I'll be putting my dress on there when it's ready, and I'll try some of the other suggestions in this thread too. I think eBay will be a last resort.0
