I still haven't got my point across about the mis-selling aspect.

Does anyone have any experience in this area?

Read your other thread and commented (and you wont like it - sorry).

When did you take the policy out? General insurance never used to regulated. A couple of years back, low levels of regulation came in and much greater regulation took affect recently. If, as I fear, it was before regulation, there is little you can do apart from legal action. Of course, what was said verbally is hard to prove. This is why now, when you ask for something specific, the requirement should be docuemented as something you need and the cover sold should reflect that need.

Although the current requirement isnt going to be much comfort to you. (You must hate my posts as i seem to be the harbinger of doom to you )
