RAM cleaning tool

Hi

Can anyone suggest a free RAM cleaning tool. what exactly does it do? is it safe to use? any further explanation will be appreciated.

    I thought you was - you mean the contacts or as in the olde days when you had to manually reset the registers etc or the not so older days when you could use memory optimisers etc .. ... If you are running post 2000 windows let MS do that for you ...

    Just turn your computer off instead... that will wipe it clean.

    ram cleaner are usually just spyware/adware etc these days. dont borther , just restart computer like others have said.

    RAM cleaning tools reduce the amount of RAM you have available by the size of the RAM cleaning tool. Other than that wasted RAM they are a con: Windows will take care of it completely automatically and use most spare RAM to cache data so it doesn't need to be read from the disk again. Avoid such programs.

    If you want to free RAM, don't recycle the same Internet Explorer copy. Close and restart from time to time instead - IE will keep some of the RAM it needed for past pages allocated until it's closed, so it can go back and forward more quickly.

    The Automatic Modus cleans the RAM when it reaches a critical level i.e. if the RAM is filled to 80% and more. You can define when the automatic cleaning should start.

    Thanks for all your answers. someone mentioned about cleaning RAM. That is why i thought i will take your opinion beore i kill my computer.

    I guess i will leave it as it is.
