Season tickets...again....
Options
Hi, I have just been quoted a shocking price of over 6200 pounds for an annual season ticket between Rugby and London (including underground). Researching season ticket costs I have found that by purchasing 2 season tickets for the route (Rugby to Milton Keynes and Milton Keynes to London) would save a considerable amount. Past threads have mentioned section 19.C of the passengers charter which only allows one season ticket per route. However..... certain replies suggest that as the train always stops at the same station on that particular route, it would actally be possible to purchase two season tickets? Any ideas? Thanks...

If the train stops at the station where you swap tickets, then it doesn't matter what sort they are as long as they are valid on the trains being used.
Also check that one or both of the separate tickets doesn't exclude Virgin trains.
It's either 19A or 19B of the charter - can't be bothered to look it up. Only ONE of the 19 paragraphs has to apply - not all of them.
Don't know if it applies at Milton Keynes (it does at Watford) but beware of set down only/pick up only trains.0
