Dont think I have ever ventured in here before but I figured that you would be the best lot to ask

Where would be the best place to sell a 1998 xj8 3.2l jag? eBay? Autotrader? Or is there some *jag specific* place?

My first port of call would be Autotrader, you just need to be realistic about your price. The mistake most folk make ios to reckon their car is worth a lot more than the market does.

you might get a better price locally in the paper or free ad in the supermarket?
ebay is great for the sheer number of buyers, but the competition is fierce too.

Check the Jaguar forums on line. Most are free to join & have a for sale section. Probably best to say hello to a few people in the newbies section first rather than make your first post in the for sale section.

If it's a REALLY nice example, the enthusiast owners club sites, are a good start.

Or, if you're in no hurry, buy a copy of Jaguar Owners mag, check the independent dealers adverts, talk to them & let them have the car & advertise it & sell on your behalf.

Of course, you'd need to be happy for them to have it without any £$£$ in your hands first!!

Or if it's just a cheap old Jag... e-bay!!
