    That is pretty bad reagrding the house insurance I have to admit..

    Reminded me of Direct Line the other day though.. I had my car insurance with them and my pet insurance for one of my dogs. I sold my car a month before going bankrupt so I could pay court fees and live, and so I didn't pay my last months insurance premium before renewal, because I couldn't afford it and I didn't have the car.

    I rang up to get a better renewal price on my dogs pet insurance and she said (to my shock) I can do anything because you owe £42 on your car insurance!! I got put through to their collections team and explained I had gone bankrupt and the premiums for the dogs went out of my partners account as I couldn't afford it..

    He said, well it's all treated as one, so you have to pay the car insurance before we can do a deal on your dog insurance.. I told him to cancel pet policy and I will go elsewhere..

    Since when should my car insurance affect my dog policy?! Just because they are the same company.. I can see their logic in protecting their interests, but it's a bit underhand in my view, especially as the pet policy was up to date.

    Anyway, thanks for the good luck wishes.. i'm gonna amaze them with my stunning looks and sensational personality! lol

    I am so pleased I put it in my C.V, at least i'm not worried about having to bring it up in the interview or on my 1st day or something.. :eek:
