is this only applicable in Ireland. I could find this link but when I called Tesco they were not aware of this offer.

We already have Tesco Car Insurance. We did not like the renewal price, so we would normally at a couple of comparison sites and chose the cheapes. This however is a great deal and will no doubt be the best. If we buy this however will they notice we are an existing policy holder and say in two months you are not getting the points. Does anybody think it is worth a try??0

It does say its for new customers only - they WILL know - car insurance databases are really tight. They have to be to prevent fraud and provide online confirmation of insurance to the DVLA0

I've been there but can't see where you enter the code. There is a space to enter your clubcard number - is that it?
. I rang Tesco insurance but they couldn't help. I had a good quote anyway but with this deal they'll be paying me !!! Desperate to get it but need more help.
Thanks

I have rung Tesco Clubcard and they don't have any info on this offer either. They are going to check for me but say the offer may only have been available for certain customers via promotional mailings.
I'll let you know the outcome

OK, I found where to enter the code but still no way to check the offer is valid until you pay. I'm still waiting for Tesco to get back to me about this.

I've been lurking for a couple of months now, but decided I should register, as I think this may have worked for me:T !!! I bought a policy about 6 weeks ago, to start in April (thought I'd take the risk as the price was just over £300), and my points balance has increased by exactly 1000 points today - so hopefully this is the reason (although I'm not convinced as the policy was due to start in more than 30 days time???).
Much thanks to the OP0 -
when you get your quartly statement, there is a breakdown of how your points are totallled up. Car insurance is one of the boxes.0
