Just been on the argos clearance and there seems a lot more than last week (toy and gift section - I've looked at).

Some of the items weren't included at the beginning of the week.

The RO list is the final leftovers from the old catalogue that are not in the new one.
I.e. clearance stock that is taking up shelf space for newer items to be cleared to make space for new catalogue items. Argos clears old stock just as a supermarket clears short dated produce. The biggest clearance quantities are the Christmas toys decs and seasonal gifts, plus later old models in cameras, comp gear etc. To clear items are first reduced to 50%, then 75% and then about late Feb the 90% off starts. Round about March the frenzy used to start, but Argos now sells "pot luck" container loads to Market traders, cos as time has gone by we covet less having by now got most of the must haves and Argos have got wiser in stock levels so..... we will see.
