I don't know if anyone has tried the paddypoker competition yet. I'm going to have a go on Wednesday at 9pm.

When you download and register for a game you lose 100 piggy points but if you play the game you registered for, you gain a bonus 500 points.

I downloaded the software on Wednesday last week but I was too late to register for that days competition. Wish me luck as I haven't played poker before !!

go to the homepage and on the left hand side is the ebay logo. next to it, it says an aeroplane for your piggypoints, click on that and you will find the ebay quiz at the bottom right hand side of the page.

Seems to help by selecting all areas of interest - many more 10 point click throughs - but you have to go round each area

go round all areas????? just keep refreshing the main page - thats all I have ever done - and I selected all areas of interest when i joined

Has anyone else signed up for Lightspeed and failed to get their points? I signed up but the link in the confirmation email that you use to collect your 200 points does not work. Agghhh.

When I signed up there was no confirmation email - you just got your points automatically added in about 2 days time

how anyone can complain that points were taken away when they filled in the Nokia competition with random numbers is beyond me. I was entitled to those points as I was a resident in Ireland at the time they were awarded but still had them erased, I am having difficulty getting them back.

People who fill in other peoples surveys just run the risk of ruining this site for the rest of us, some of whom have been members at pigsback since it started.

I am all for MSE and sharing information like quiz answers and legitimate points links, but this kind of activity just gives MSE'ers a bad name.

Firstly, i just want to say that I'm not going to argue about this, what i say is just my opinion, which everybody is entitled to.

I asked for the link, and i know its wrong for us to do that. People here are still giving Irish links and using Irish points when they are not entitled to but i feel that sharing crossword answers is in theory the same thing as using links. I haven't used any Irish links to get points, because i feel that that is wrong, as its nothing to do with me. If people are using crossword answers that they didn't get and they haven't put any effort in then its taking the chance away from people who got all the answers themselves.

With the survey, i only wanted to see what it was like, i wouldn't have went ahead with it if it was targeted at women etc. With my email, it doesn't always come through very well, taking longer than it should. If i was entitled to it i might have missed it.

I'm not here to give MSE a bad name, I'm here to help. It seems like your post was specifically targeted at me, but please remember the people that have posted Irish links, such as the Nokia competition, and all those that did take advantage of the offer.

I wish you luck in retrieving your points from the Nokia survey.
