The competition
The winners will travel to Edinburgh, where they will be whisked to the bohemian Malmaison hotel in Leith. They’ll enjoy a special dinner, each course matched with fine Innis & Gunn beers, and they will have all weekend to relax and sightsee in this beautiful historic capital.

A two-night weekend stay for two in a deluxe suite (with twin or double beds) at Edinburgh’s Malmaison hotel.
Full English breakfast for two each morning.
A special Innis & Gunn dinner for two in the hotel on Friday or Saturday night.
Return travel by air or first-class rail, with transfers.
The prize consists of: two nights’ accommodation (Friday and Saturday) for two in a twin or double deluxe suite at Malmaison, 1 Tower Place, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 7DB.
Breakfast for two on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
One dinner for two with beer included.
Travel to Edinburgh by air or first-class rail, with transfers.
Open to UK residents only.
Winner must be 18 years or over.
Hotel subject to availability: winner must give two months’ notice when booking, and suggest two alternative dates – August not available.
Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize if deemed necessary.
The prize must be taken as offered and is not transferable.
There is no cash alternative.
The winner will be selected at random from all the correct entries received by the closing date.
Entrants must not be employees of John Brown, the John Lewis Partnership, the competition sponsors or anyone professionally linked with the competition.
The judges’ decision is final: no correspondence will be entered into.
