i have a virgin card balance of aprox £4000 the monthly payment has gone to £90 and £80 of thet is interest a month !!! i also have capital one card balance £2800 monthly payment of £85 how can i reduce these monthy payments as the mortgage payments have gone up and i am struggling to pay these every month .... i cant get another card to balance transfer i have tried....i have wrote to both to ask them if they can reduce monthly payments but cap one just wrote back saying they cant switch it to another of their cards as its against policy so i wrote back asking again if theres any thing they can do......if neither can help would it be a good idea to send them both a list of income/outgoing and an offer of say £45 each a month ? obviously paying the mortgage is more important so im trying to sort this out ...any advice please

why not go to the bank and get an unsecured loan over 7 years ?
Or you can apply for another MBNA card. They accept the lowest repayments ie £5 plus interest but as you will know your debts will hardly reduce.
IMHO it's a joke people who write these letters to CC companies, it will just give you a bed credit rating and should only be used as a last resort.

CC companies cant give you a poor rating by writing them a letter. They can only report facts and figures, stop muck spreading:mad:
As for the debt who have you applied to?... Im sure the clever bods will be along with a few more 0% offers you could apply for.....0
