Hey i wonder if anyone can help my tomtom one xl is messed up i got my key and all that to redo it again but my son lost my disk is there anyway i can get a copy of this cd or a way to download it would be helpful thaniks

is the problem with your Tom Tom navigator or the software on the PC?

my tomtom messed up and i took it to the shop and asked them to sort it thay said if i reinstall from cd i got with it it would work again but i lost my cd i got everythink but the cd

did u try the Tom Tom website? You will have to register.

have you tried resetting it with a pin? The manual will tell you where you can reset your tom tom. it works for me.

or you can call Tom Tom. they have 2 year warranty on it. they will set it right free of cost for you.

You could try this..... I have seen this work for a few people after the red cross fault..


1. Connect your tomtom to the PC and copy EVERYTHING from it onto your PC (remember to enable hidden files and folders).

2.If you havent already .. Install TOMTOM Home 2.1 (available from thier site)

3.Delete everything from your TOMTOM except maps (If they are still there)

4.Plug in the TOMTOM and run HOME. HOME should then update the TOMTOM to the latest software (doesnt cost anything). Remember to add voices as well.

Your only problem will be the maps as they are usually tied to the device so copying someone elses wont work...

I've just bought a TT1 v3 Europe xl. Is it possible to copy the maps from it to mp PC in a viewablw format?
I do not want to copy maps to sell, but want to view them on a bigger scren than the TT1 XL has.

Not that I am aware of..

You couldnt sell them if you wanted to as they are hard coded to the machine and will not work in any other once activated.
