Windows Updates complete set for XP SP2?

Is there anywhere on the Microsoft site where you can download a complete set of all the updates for Windows XP Pro, for a newly installed SP2 machine to bring it up to date as of today, rather than connect it and let it download hours of files and individual security updates? I know SP3 probably won't be around until the summer, so anything available in the meantime?

there used to be autopatcher but they were shut down by MS, so the best bet is to let it do it all overnight.Nudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0

Autopatcher is being re-worked and they have a new beta version out at the moment but is is "buggy".
If you can't wait for the fully working version try this.

If you have not done the install, you can patch the installation files, with all the updates, don't forget to do a "Custom" Update to see if any of the optional Updates are relevant.Rich people save then spend.

I've got the SP2 version so the install will already be SP2.
So how can I patch the installation files to the current updates with the custom install? I haven't installed yet on the new PC, hence the questions.
Also I have a couple of other fully patched XP Pro PCs, can I find, and copy all the downloaded update patches from those and install directly to save a massive download on a limited connection?0 -
To create a customised installation disk, you have to "slipstream" the post-SP2 patches into the source files. A quick Google will give you instructions on how to do this. But to do this you will need a copy of all the post-SP2 patch files, so you will have to download these on a decent(fast) internet link.
What autopatcher and the link I gave you earlier does is give you the facility to download all these additional files ONCE, and then use them on MANY pcs.
I don't think you will easily find the required files on an already fully patched XP PC.

I've toyed with the idea of download sp3 beta from microsoft, there's not much new stuff in it so it shouldn't be a massive risk...0

I downloaded SP3 the other day, installed it straight away with no backups or system restore point & no problems so far.
Has anyone thought of ordering the cd from Miscrosoft? http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/sp2/cdorder/en_us/default.mspx
it's free & when I ordered it took about 3 weeks to arrive.Winnings

Out of interest, how big are the downloads since SP2? With todays Internet connections, it shouldnt take more than an hour surely?0
