Due to a bereavement I have been left a lot of antique ornaments, etc. Anyone know where I could start in the Cardiff location or nearby, to look for auctions or fair dealers/antique shops that might give me an idea of what they are worth/buy them from me?
I think they are too good for a car boot or ebay and I may not get what they are really worth,
Cheers!

Cheers!

I don't know if its still there but in one of the arcades - I think it was Dominans Arcade - by where David Morgan used to be there was a shop that contained several individual traders that sold the sort of items you know have to dispose of.
Before you do get rid of them though I would try and do some research to see if you did have any really valuable items, as (and i am sorry to say this) I think you may be taken advantage of if you show any signs of ignorance.2014 Target;

You could try Anthemion Auctions, off Colchester Avenue. They have a valuation day, usually on Fridays. I have sold things through them several times and been happy. They are in the phone book.Blagged: free samples of handwash from Molton Brown; booklet of walks from Brecon Carreg;
