Hi,
Just got myself a Danfoss TP5000-RF Si (+RX1) thermostat and just wondering how easy is it to wire into the boiler. I know a good amount of electrics and have extended ring circuits and lighting etc.
Below is a picture of inside my boiler and a picture of the instruction manual.

By the looks of it, the connector block with the 2 black wires and the brown link across, could be the stat pair, can not be 100% sure because the block is not identified, if it was me, I would remove the brown link and see if the central heating still worked ?0

Thats the only part that looks like it can be wired into so i was thinking it could be that. So if i take the brown loop wire out and then the heating does not work, it is that one?
What is the recommend cable to use, and do i then just put the L and N into the thermostat?0 -
Ok, i took the brown loop out and the boiler worked but the heating did not when i selected the timer. Put it back and all works fine.
So the connection block does the timer what is the best way to add this to the dabfoss and what cable should i get?0
