Post Office credit card

I applied for a Post Office credit card online earlier today. At the end of the application it said a decision couldn't be made immediately and I would hear by post within the next five days. I applied through Quidco and have just looked on there and it has been validated. Does that mean I've been accepted?

NO, that only means that your application was tracked by them and if you are accepted by the PO you'll also get cashback from Quidco.

Yep, that's how much you'll get from Quidco.

As per their site :- QUIDCO

£20.50 for each accepted credit card application

No, it's not a wind up. I did read your earlier post but obviously don't fully understand the terminology of Quidco. I applied for a Goldfish card which was tracked at 0.00 which I wasn't accepted for but thought validated meant it had been accepted, thanks for putting me straight. Sorry if I'm being a thicko!!

OK, Quidco use different terminology for different companies. Some show 0.00 ONLY, some show the amount of cashback you get. It's just a peculiarity of their system.
It has nothing whatsover to do with your acceptance for the card.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
I applied for this through Quidco waited until i got my money then cancelled my card, but if you do this you must do it in writing it cannot be done on line or over the phone. Still nice £20 for 25mins work and a little wait...lol
:hello: Lets all save a £ or two, lets all earn a £ or two, and lets all enjoy spending that £ or two wisely.

And a credit search on your file for the sake of £20. What a waste !!
