Apologies, if this is obvious to some of you. I want to create a mix of mp3s for a party I'm having. I've downloaded the tracks from my albums, converted them to mp3s and put them in a folder on my desktop. No problems so far. However, when I try to burn them, Nero doen't burn them in the order I want them. I've tried rearranging them in the folder and adding the whole folder to Nero, and I've tried adding them individually ( slow). Either way when I come to write, the order has been changed. Can anyone please advise?
Thanks
Thanks

You could rename them so each track has a number at the startIt's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Yep start each track like 001, 002 etc etc then sort by name0

Thanks, when I try this I'm warned that the file may become unusable. Is this normal?

You need to retain the filename extension and not just rename them to 001, 002
e.g.
001.mp3
002.wma etc. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
or.
001 - SongTitle.mp3
002 - SongTitle.mp3
003 - SongTitle.mp3It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
