I have just been emailed by latest bill from Talk Talk, and on it, there is an line..

Inv Surcharge £2.98

Does anyone know what this may relate to?

Did you by any chance cancel ,or did your bank cancel your D/D, they can raise a charge for this situation where they have to collect the bill another way,other then D/D.

The only thing that has happened, is that I have changed Bank accounts, so that they have had to setup a new direct debit, becuase of the times involved, at no stage did they try to collect from an invalid system.

Thanks for the comment though, it is certainly a thought.
