bought a basic rice cooker from them- tried it for a few days and what ever we did there was a "crust" of significantly burnt rice at the bottom- the rest of the rice was lovely though...
Called them to see if I could exhange it for the new Tefal 4 in 1 (just in the Jan catalogue- no problems, but they had none in store, they will let me kmow...
Next day was in town anyway so popped in "sorry not here yet". After lunch (still in town fortunately)- they had unpacked new stock and it was ready to collect.:T
So no probls- take old one back, pay the difference and take home new one( cooks perfectly too!).
I could just see dome other stores "You want to return it but most of he rice is cooked perfectly.." or even worse "Oh rice cookers are meant to burn a bit" or even "you can't have followed the instructions"... you know the sort of thing.
