Photo might show usage but item is described as brand new

Hi all.
Need some advice.
I'm currently the winning bidder on a fairly expensive item. The item is listed as brand new, and is also described as brand new by the seller. There are four photographs, one of which shows part of the item which does look like its been used. It's a pushchair, and a photo of the wheels shows (what looks like) dirt on the wheels, and it doesnt look like the tyre thread is completely new. Thing is I only just noticed it.
Where do I stand? The seller has an impressive record but I'm worried as my maximum bid will most probably win the item. There are 23 hours left.
I'd hate for either of us to get a negative feedback for this, but don't want to overpay for something that's used!!

-you could contact the seller to ask for clearer pic's of the pushchair
-contact the seller to discuss your concerns
-you could ask about a possible reduction if it is actually used
-you could wait til you have the item and them contact the seller
up to you really0 -
Is the item being sold by a buisness or a private seller?
could you supply an item No or link to the item so we could lookLiving the Dream...............:A

(I really hate sounding confrontational so am worried about sparking up a debate and eventually sounding like I'm accusing her of lying)'I love being married. It's so great to find the one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life' :heartpuls0 -
i would email the seller now and ask the question? is it new or not?
if not, then you would like to withdraw your bid, (or whatever).
state the reason for your concern. ie photo evidence.Get some gorm.0 -
as above - i'd ask the seller, in a nice way, and point out that the pic looks like its showing usage on the wheels
the seller may have a good reason for it ie dusty floor due to work on the house or summit0 -
could be dodgy in the wet at high speed!
looks new apart from the tyres though?Get some gorm.0 -

Will probably contact seller, gotta figure out a nice way of saying it!
I think I'm too nice for my own good you know!! (saying that, I'm a strong believer in benefit of doubt!)'I love being married. It's so great to find the one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life' :heartpuls0 -
It may have just been pushed around on a dirty floor, or stored in a shed or garage
I would (as sergested above ) ask the seller the question
Why would a private seller be selling a new pushchair?
Don't new ones come boxed?Living the Dream...............:A
Every little helps0 -
its got a picture of the box aswell.
it's an older model to the ones available in the shops now but that's the one I want which is why I'm looking on ebay. (Come to think of it, could be odd that a private seller has a brand new OLDER model)
From the other pics it looks brand new, has the box showing too, everything else looks fine, just the wheels.'I love being married. It's so great to find the one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life' :heartpuls0
