over paid electric
Hiya
i am on prepayment meters for both gas and lecy
they were here when we moved in so we just kept it that way, anyway i recently got a "bill" from NPOWER saying i was in debit by £56, but im still having to top up every week as usual, can i ask them to send me the debit amount by cheque or add it to my meter?
hope this makes sense

If you are in debit, then you owe them, not the other way round.0

then ive written the wrong thing, lol
i am in credit. sorry about the mistake **blush**0 -
If you have a prepayment meter you pay as you go. Check the date of the reading and the date of the last payment, you'll probably find there were payments after the reading, so you should discount them.
Also, if you had any credit on the meter, that is credit you are going to use so they can't refund it to you.
As a rule, if your meter is programmed correctly you won't be due anything, nor will you owe thwm anything.
Check the settings on the meter and compare them to the published prices.0
