Hi Everyone,
I am going to Dublin on the 26th of January for 3 nights and I was thinking about staying at the Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel. It is quite cheap and it looks nice.
Did anyone here stayed there? What's your opinion about it? Is it far away from the main attractions? If so, is it easy to get to them by bus or something?

If you want a good hilton, look at the Conrad Hilton, that is damn good and walking distance to the main attractions. I've stayed there so often that the staff check me in without asking my name. Best buffet breakfast in dublin. Not cheap, but you might be able to negotiate the price down since it's the quiet season. We always had a good corporate rate.
Don't stay near the airport - traffic is terrible getting into town.
If you want cheap but good, i can recommend the Quality Inn or the Brooks (they have a pillow menu and the best guiness in Dublin)0 -

I really don't want to spend a fortune in a Hotel. Hilton Airport hotel is 4 miles from city, it is also about 2.5 miles from airport. Think there is a shuttle bus from Airport to hotel. No amenities nearby. Try Jurys Inn Parnell Square and Arlington Hotel both city centre.
Skylon Hotel about 2 miles from city. Taxi should cost about €15 to €20 not much more. Ask before u get in. Enjoy.:beer:0
