Raised beds - help?

there is what could loosely be called a border, which I dug up part of last autumn and planted some daff bulbs in, but other than getting the grass cut no one bothers with it, and none of the other residents use it except for hanging washing in, its such a waste! My thinking is its either one of these beds or a ton of pots, and surely even the housing people will be able to recognise that one bigger square bed is neater than a jumble of mismatched pots all over the shop. I think if I hadn't bothered asking last year they wouldn't have had a problem with it, they haven't said anything about my mini greenhouse I've tied to the fence or my strawberry tower.

Why don't you just use the border then? I mean the raised bed would be good, maybe even better, but if it upsets someone?
There are quite alot of campaigns going on to get people to grow more at home, maybe a pointer to someone on the HA management might help?
Maybe a pointer to someone on a campaign will get you more oomph with the HA?

hmm, you've given me a bit to think about! I can completely see your point but I've sort of set my heart on it! I might have a word with the neighbours and get their opinion too.
