Bra washing help please

I have had to start wearing lightly padded bras because of sticking out nipples . .:o
I just cant seem to get a bra washed without the padding puckering. Today I just lightly soaked them in warm water in the sink allowing them to drip dry with no wringing. Even though they are good quality M&S all but 2 in 8 have got dents or wrinkles in.
Please can anyone give me advice as this is starting to be expensive. If I wear them with dents you can see it through my tops.
Failing that how can I go back to lacey cups without it looking like im smuggling peanuts ?
Im bracing myself for the inevitable comments but this is a serious question

I don't know about the washing bit, but you could try nursing pads in your normal bras. You can either buy disposable or easy-wash little pads that you use when you are breastfeeding: they are useful if your nipples leak a little bit, so should cover your nipples.0

Hi, i always wash my bras in the washing machine on those net things-i know ideally handwashing is better but i am lazy! When i get them out of the machine, i reshape them to make sure theres no lumps/bumps in them!
Warning-dont do a hot wash, i only use a lowheat as im sure being too hot will possibly shrink them or ruin them somehow!

Hi Tadpole I know what you mean about the puckering and wrinkling. I bought two padded bras from M & S (value range) and I put them on a really cool wash. They ended up puckering and wrinkling like you describe. I've only worn them a couple of times too.
I went and bought some really good quality bras from La Senza and one is moulded, the other is a gel bra. They are really comfortable, I put them on the hand wash cycle in washing machine and have no puckering or wrinkling. You might want to consider a different type of bra like I describe as you won't have nipples showing and you won't get that wrinkly look either.0 -
My bras are from M+S -no problems here? and they are padded.

Kleeneze catalogue do a couple of products specifically designed to put bras in for the washing machine: http://www.main-book.co.uk/
There's a plastic bra washing ball (£5) which it says is 'ideal for padded bras', and a floral fabric bra washing bag (£4).
Also BHS I think do nipple covers to put inside your bra.0 -
I`ve ruined 2 of my best bras because i washed them in machine without a net bag thing.A wire has come out on both of them.
Has anyone any idea how to keep the wire back in, i`m having a devil of a job trying to do it?

Thanks all
Nursing pads might be a way to use my lacey bras up, I will check them out. That website with the bra balls has some good products on it. I will order one and give it a whirl. I will try everyones suggestions.Thankyou.
As someone else has had trouble with the same M&S bras it might be worth trying to take them back as this is their first wash.0 -
I'm too lazy to do anything other than chuck mine in the machine. I have the same problem with the foam-style padding. I wear them due to sticking out nipples and, er, no titsMy TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I usually bung mine in the machine inside a pillowcase when I wash our bedlinen! They do wrinkle a bit (Triumph bras-they fit me better than any other) but re-shaping whilst damp usually gets rid of any lumps bumps and other misshapenness (is that a real word? you know what I mean).
Got decent-sized boobs but don't like nips "leading the way", or otherwise:rolleyes:  !

How much do they charge for delivery do you know? I'd like another peg carousel and we don't have Kleeneze round anymore.:wave:0
