i printed some vouchers for flamingo land 2 for 1 from gosummer, but, when i emailed flamingo land they said they dont take printed vouchers - how come this site is giving them? also, you cannot access their site at the moment - have they realised they have been doing summat wrong?

They tried to tell us that we could not use the Flamingo Land vouchers from https://www.gosummer.com when we went to Flamingo Land yesterday. However, after the man on the till asked his supervisor they said that you could use the vouchers if they were the original printed out version. They accepted the version that was on a full page - with the website details at the bottom and the page number at the top, but would not accept a scan I had made of it - as I had cut this out - and it did look a little shifty.

I had to make a scan as I had not been able to get onto gosummer's website -temporarily down - The man on the gate said that they had been told last week that they were not allowed to accept printed out vouchers, but he also said they keep changing the rules.

The moral of this tory print out loads of vouchers when you get the chance, you never know when the website will be down!!!

PS. I've put this on another post but thought it was worth mentioning here. The caravan club membership gives you a list of loads of places that you can use its card (and a voucher) to get money of - this includes kids go free at Flamingo Land (as they are only a pound cheaper then this is basically buy one get one free). You have to join the caravan club, this usually costs betewwn £30 and £35 pounds.

I printed vouchers for going to flamingo land this week have just spoken to louisa in customer services at flamingo land and she informed me that the vouchers turned away had been photo-copied and therefore all contained the same serial number. She says they will accept any original printed vouchers!

Don't forget you can save your Tesco clubcard vouchers for use at flamingo land.

They did this to me last year. I pointed out that the T&Cs doesn't stipulate anything about photocopies or duplicate vouchers, they phoned someone, and we got in using them.

Anyway...most sites generate a new serial number every time you press F5...handy hint #386

I tend to "print" these vouchers into PDF files disk using PDF creator http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/.

I can then print out as many original copies as I need at a later date.
