Travel Insurance - Acts of Terrorism

Do I really need a policy that doesn't include the like in its exclusions or am I being paranoid. I am / we are travelling to Egypt & the US this year & have had some good prices for joint policies but acts of terrorism & such like appear in the exclusions on the policy wording. Is it worth looking at companies who do not exclude such acts in their cover? If so can anyone recommend any policies?

I doubt you will find a company that will cover acts of terrorism/God because the price is too high.Good luck though!
I was offered an option that included 'acts of terrorism such as hijacking and so on', as well as other such happy events as 'another passenger on the plane dies' or some such utter crap.
Needless to say I did not pay for that particular option.0 -
www.acetravelinsurance.co.uk appears to include terrorism in the policy details and for people with pre-existing conditions it almost looks too good to be true - only stipulation seems to be if you or immediate member of family on a hospital waiting list!
As always, check all the details and phone them if you have the slightest query!

As a matter of interest, what are you planning to do?0
