Well I guess I will have to keep all my money under my bed, since I currently bank with HSBC, whom as you are probably aware have very strong connections with China. China's human rights record makes Nigeria look like a bastion of virtue.;)

Hmm! My current account is with A&L who pay 6.5% interest. I don't have any issues with the UKs human rights policies!!

True. I did say "current" account. My savings are with ICICI HiSave account. I hope they are ok to save with!

India is better than some, but the caste system is a serious afront to human rights IMHO.

However the above is somewhat immaterial, and I hope you now understand my original point.
