What about snowballing in explanation bit? Seems to get mentioned here a bit and seen a lot of people ask what it is, that are then redirected to www.whatsthecost.com

Good thread, been reading forum for ages and some of the abbreviations are difficult to understand at first. Also sometimes not clear what applies to an individual country and diff terms for different areas.

I.e: Scotland has different legal and courts system. We also pay water charges as part of council tax bil, instead of being charged seperately or on meters.
