Boots 75% off sale on-line and In-store!

Hi everyone, sorry if this has been asked before but .... looking at my sales receipts from Boots I realise that 2 items I bought in the 75% off sale are actually from Christmas 06!!!!! :eek: I'd bought them especially for people for next Christmas (they are very Christmassy looking so won't do for summer birthdays!)

They are bath and body stuff and I don't really want it to be two years old when I give it to people - can you take the sale stuff back and get your money back?

As long as you have your receipt you'll get a refund.

does the website up date again tonight. Last night it updated between 5.15am and 5.37 am when I checked again

would the people that u give it to notice that its 2yrs old or r u worried bout it going out of date? if its the later i don't think it goes off till u open it then u get bout 12 / 24 mnths

Sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone know if boots undate or add more stock on their site on a saturday? Don't want to get up early for nothing lol.

I *think* it updates Saturday but not Sunday? Someone will be along to correct me if not. I know it didn't update Sunday anyway.

The online sale did get updated at 5.30am this morning, I set my alarm just to give it a try, got a few more bits towards xmas, but they were going out of my basket faster than I was putting them in. Dont mind really i got what I wanted. :beer:

I placed order online as soon as 75% sale started, ordered 2 larger items and added a little one to qualify for free postage. Yes, you've guessed it, small one arrived today and received email saying the 2 I actually wanted are both out of stock grrrrrrrrrr!

Yes you can find out online. If there are 2 or 3 cards registered with different email addresses, you can do the following:-

Log on using the first email address
Click on "My account"

You will then see all the info that you registered at the time. You can also edit anything you want.

Then go through the other email addys, making a note of them all as you go. HTH. Polly :T :T
