I had a guilty conscience today but then redeemed myself!:A

As I said earlier, I got some bargains both online and at my local two Boots shops yesterday. When I went yesterday, there were 3 Baby Annabels on the shelf and while I was uming and aaing about whether I should get them they disappeared before my eyes (other people incl 1 SA got them!) So today I went and there was 1 left on the shelf, presumably after restocking. I seized it thinking of the great bargain I got - only £10!!! (normally £40). But after I got it I thought, 'I don't need this' - I've got 2 boys and no little girl relatives. It was too big to give as a present for school friends and it was such a big package for me to carry around town (I was walking) and for that matter all the way home. So, (now don't complain if you wanted one!), I DONATED it to the Cancer Research Shop! It eased my guilty conscience (and my aching arms) but made me realise just how strong 'sales fever' can grip!...

PS - Anybody buy the 'Game of Life' game I mentioned earlier?

im pleased with my buys from yesterday, managed to get plenty of No7 stuff including bronzer, lip glosses and shimmer powders very nice!!! also a really nice toni & guy gifty bag. the bag is of suede material and from £20 it was reduced to £5. went in again today n saw sum lovely totes slipper socks, great for my lil girl to keep her small feet cosy!! plenty of ted baker stuff lyin around.

When I rang yesterday to check on my order, including the dino sets (a present for a school) I was told my order was on the screen, safe and complete, but would not be with me today. They even checked with the delivery dept, who agreed they could see it as a fulfilled order on their screen.
Then I got the email cancelling 4 out of 5 items. I went out today, so I could be in tomorrow for the delivery of the 1 item left, and got back to find it left out in the rain, clearly marked 'Next Day Delivery'.
I'm going to write a letter to CS this time.

why is it it says the vtech station shows as in stock but when u click on it it says out of stock... how annoyin, l really wanted one as well as my boys is crawlin and wud be perfect for him to help him, keep him buisy!!! and out the cupboards!!!

Had a good Boots day got the free tissues/free water with the glirch I got 15p back!! Lots of great sale stuff ok for scented baths/showers all year and used points so well happy, glad I saved them now! Thanks all love this site and thread

Just to say that I bought the Ted Laptop bags before christmas when they were half price and 3 4 2 - they fit a 15" laptop comfortably. There is also a smaller bag thingy in it...not sure what that was even for.

They are fab and well worth the money if you see one.
