Credit Card 0% Balance Transfer

New to all this balance transfer malarky, i did transfer over last year from one credit card to another (LV to MBNA) but i still have some debt remaining, so want to know of what to do to transfer to another credit card which i'm looking at Virgin, or can i transfer back to my first credit card which is Liverpool Victoria which i still use reguarly, i have not used the MBNA since i transfered the debt to it last year, so want to transfer to another card, but unsure of what,the debt is a mere £1,000 so any advice dont really want another card but if it is the only way to move the debt given me 9 more months to pay off then i will, but any advicewould be great, or of any other better deals on offer regarding balance transfers.

Do any of your current cards have a 0% deal still available to you?

If not, then you can either call them and ask if they'll offer one (worth a go?!), or apply for a new card (eg. Halifax have a 0% for 9 months, and I think Egg do too, but check out websites for deals).

I would say also to cancel any cards that are sitting at £0, as they are just an unecessary (and unwanted!) temptation to spend on them.
