Help needed with getting to Nice 23rd August.Any ideas or help appreciated.

We are using our tesco clubcard vouchers for a holiday in Nice 23rd August but the cheapest flights we can find are in the £700 bracket.(easyjet...luton flight.)However, having just read small print in Frenchlife brochure it says that you can go Eurostar to Avignon direct. Can anyone give me advice on the cheapest way to book these tickets....flight or train.(or any other options....)

thanks in advance

  • Can't help with Eurostar I'm afraid, but have you tried - www.ryanair.com to Toulon (st Tropez) www.flybe.com and www.bmibaby.com both to Nice, we have also booked with British Airways to Nice before and it was cheaper than Easyjet!

There are EasyJet tickets on their website from Luton on 23rd for under £100 return, depending on your return date. Also other carriers. Try a good local travel agent who should be able to get you much better deal than £700 unless there are several of you in party for that fare.. Call "Rail Europe" in London who can quote you train fare to Avignon as an alternative or let travel agent do the work and get you best deal.....Good Luck
