vauxhall zafira exhaust?

the rear section of my zafira exhaust needs replacing...the vauxhall dealer who suggested that wants £250:mad: ...i know this is excessive but how much should i expect to pay?

Depending on exact model, engine size, age etc, a full exhaust system for a Zafira can be had for £144.17 + vat from here ===>>>

A rear silencer from the same place can be had for £31.20 + vat. Again, depends on model.

I am not saying these are the cheapest. I just googled zafira exhaust rear section and found this in about five minutes.

Yikes!! I'm in the same dilemma, our silencer thingy has dropped off now, need it fixed ASAP and have been quoted pretty much the same!!

it is zafira club 1.8 engine...i had the rear section done today at independent garage for £120 (parts and labour and 2 years warantty)...do you think this was reasonable? at least half what the dealer quoted me

Our local garage quoted £45 including fitting of a rear box for a 1.8l petrol.

Most towns have Tyre and Exhaust places (NOT Kwik Fit or National though) check yell.com

Give them a call and get some quotes.

My basic rule of thumb is £200 for a complete exhaust fitted.

Depends if it needed doing or not. Most people pull their face when they see a rear box on a Vauxhall shedding it's skin.We peel them off and spray them silver.
