I am looking to take my wife and 2 kids (14+15) to london for the weekend to see all the sites so i am after a hotel in easy walking of attractions and any adive for the trip????

The holiday express hotels are very good value if you have a family because they don't charge for children to stay. It also includes breakfast, they are clean and modern and one step up from travel lodge.

I saw the Earls Court holiday express for 69.00 all in which for last minute seems a really good deal.

i found The Lodge Hotel (Putney) for £270 for 2 nights for all of us can anyone tell me how close this is to all the attractions as you can gather london is not my strong point.

Your best best is to use tripadvisor. Put the hotel of your choice in and the comments will tell you how to get round. Its really useful. I use it all the time!
